Mission

The Waisman Brain Imaging Core is central to the integration of behavioral and biological research at the Waisman Center IDDRC.  The core provides access to state-of-the-art neuroimaging instrumentation, tools for image analysis, and expert advice on the design, acquisition, and analysis for imaging studies. Examination of alterations in brain structure, function, and neurochemistry is critical to our understanding of the causal pathways from environmental or genetic processes and for the development of preventive or ameliorative interventions.
